About Us

Festival Flats is a family run letting agency that was set up by Anne Goring initially to help connect people from the arts community with suitable accommodation for the Festival period. Over the years, as the Comedy Festival, Book Festival and Television Festivals joined the International Festival and Fringe, clients have included actors, musicians, comedians, their agents, writers, publishers and a host of media people from critics writing for national newspapers to BBC radio and TV commissioning editors and scouts as well as venue managers and their staff.

Founded in 1986, Festival Flats' strength lies in the personal service offered by its dedicated team of experienced and friendly staff whose priority is a) to compile a portfolio of quality apartments which are within easy reach of main Festival and Fringe venues to suit varying budgets and requirements and b) to find suitable tenants who will respect and appreciate their temporary Festival home. Likewise we seek property owners who respect the needs of the Festival community and will go the extra mile to create a home from home in addition to the standard amenities provided for a holiday let. We pride ourselves in describing our properties as honestly as we can and attempt to defy market forces by negotiating rents at a price which both parties consider fair.
